A survey was conducted interviewing 50 HR managers from the industry. They were asked from least (1) to most important (10) which of the following environmental factors, internal and external are most important to their business:

The results clear show that work ethic was seen as very important to most of the HR managers. Training and motivation were also another very important aspect, however effectiveness didn't seem to be very important to most of the managers. Therefore it is believed that the things the business should focus on is the work ethic of their employees.
