A human resource manager is required to be able to work well with their employees, and ensures that their staff works well with their co-workers. A team will not function properly if problems with other staff members appear in the work place. A good human resource manager will earn the trust of those they manage. They will not play favorites with specific members of the team. By playing ‘favorites’, this it can quickly damage the functionality, respect and state of the team .The best mangers earn respect by being prompt and civil and express the same respect with their fellow employees as they would do with someone in a higher position of authority. It shows that they value their employees as individuals and gives mutual likelihood. They also avoid conflict, they will address and adjust conflict situations but will avoid conflict with other members of staff them selves.
